What we're building:
Accessibility Approach
Open to everyone
Accessibility isn't something we're adding on at the end. It's a principle that runs through the entire campus from the very beginning, and one that HADSCAL feels strongly about.
The campus is being designed to be genuinely inclusive for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. That means pathways and landscaping that make it easy to move between every part of the site, whether or not you have a mobility requirement. It means quiet seating areas, and buildings and outdoor spaces that welcome everyone, not just the able-bodied and the active.
The detailed access design will be developed with our architects as plans are finalised, and will be set out fully in our planning application. We welcome feedback from residents, local groups and anyone with lived experience of access challenges.
If you have thoughts on what would make this campus truly accessible to you, please share them on our contact page.
